Okra-Corn-Tomato Medley 1 medium onion, chopped
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 pound fresh okra, sliced
3 medium ears fresh corn, cut from cob
4 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black peppter
In a Dutch oven, saute' onions in butter until tender, add okra, and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until corn is tender.
