I love growing gourds.  And I love painting gourds!
I've always enjoyed art and have sketched and painted most of my life.  In gourds I have not only discovered my most enjoyable canvas yet, I've found a new way to use and share my passion of both gardening and art.   Here are a few of some of my favorites. I use acrylic paints and on some I etch details with a wood burning tool.   They are then sprayed with acrylic sealer to make them long-lasting.  No two are alike and I'm never sure what I'm going to paint next ~ the gourd usually lets me know.
These are all homegrown and handpainted by me . . .  :)
