In my Garden

' All the flowers of all the tomorrows are in the seeds of today.'
~Indian Proverb~

Though I also enjoy vegetable gardening, most of these
photos are of my flowers. Soon I may add a page on the
vegetables, and possibly my herbs.

Purple Cone Flowers
Coneflower
Echinacea purpurea
This is one of my favorites, of all flowers. I'm not even sure why.
Some of these were started from young plants, and others from seed.
They faithfully return each year, and with dead-heading, bloom until frost.

Pink Hibiscus
Hibiscus
Hibiscus moscheutos
Hibiscus are perfect flowers for the harsh heat of the south. They seem
to thrive on the heat, and the plants come back larger and fuller each year.

Red Hibiscus

More Hibiscus ... the true color of this red is so vivid, my camera
was almost fooled. The blooms really are as large as dinner plates.
